Asajj Ventress vs Savage Opress

Ventress tagging Savage half a dozen times when she had padawan level skill (due to her one lightsaber) clearly indicates Savage would be cut to pieces if we gave her both of them.

I find Asajj more impressive as a combatant, and I think she’s fully capable of mitigating Oppress’ strength.

Ventress with "padawan level" single blade skills backs up Plo Koon into a wall, yet Plo Koon disarms her of one of her blades when she had both. No real disparity in skill, maybe she's more comfortable with two but she's clearly just as capable with one based on performances.

And she can tag him all she wants with her patty cake punches they won't do any damage. Only one is required to stun her badly enough to drop her lightsaber.

Plus, Dave's comments while maybe not applicable to the rest of Legends clearly show the intent he wrote the scene with i.e. his intent was to have Ventress with padawan tier skill landing numerous strikes on Savage.

Yes! By virtue of the fact, Koon gained an advantage over a duo bladed Ventress yet Koon was incapable of stomping a "padawan level" Ventress. You would think that losing a blade in a back and forth battle would be a critical advantage for Koon yet Ventress is still even with him.

This isn’t a H2H contest. Ventress only started landing several melee hits when she got disarmed of both her lightsabers, which is just a reflection of her martial arts prowess, not lightsaber prowess, and even in that case Savage was beating her while holding a lightsaber in one hand. Pre transformation Savage, who hasn’t even gotten to the stage of using the Force, was able to hold his own against Ventress in H2H, post transformation Savage would do a lot more damage.
