Gap between Banite generations

For example how generations does it take for a stomp gap to appear. Could Gravid stomp or one shot Bane for example. What about Plagueis to Tenebrous's master?

I don't think it's very quantifiable tbh.

We can quantifiably prove Plagueis could turn Tenebrous to ash à la Revan vs. Nyriss. Beyond that, it's mainly inference. I think you can make a strong case the jump from Bane to Tenebrous is enormous, though.

Especially considering the massive inferred gap between Tenebrous and his own master.

The gap between Darth Sidious and Darth Plagueis is gigantic (DE >>> RotJ >>> RotS >>> EoTPM > Plagueis).
The gap between Darth Plagueis and Darth Tenebrous is also probably pretty large given how much Plagueis amped his own potential and the unbalancing feat.
The gap between Darth Tenebrous and his master is probably very large given how quickly Tenebrous disposed of him.
That alone is a pretty massive increase, and it's just the last three. They're probably larger than most of the previous gaps, but if the differences were so small it would be unlikely that the apprentice would so consistently defeat the master. In both Plagueis and Sidious's cases they received power-boosts from their masters' deaths, which likely didn't start with them.

Based on what?

Not all apprentices made it to that stage though. Darth Cognus's first apprentice, for example, Darth Millennial was a failure and up until Darth Gravid's sabotage Sith Masters had literally all the time in the world to go through several trial runs, with essence transfer extending their life, before a worth successor overthrew them, so it's conceivable that some of the Sith Apprentices were unsuccessful. That and the only documented Sith confrontation in Zannah and Bane was extremely close, with Cognus seeing different victors in her visions of a future always in motion.

Pretty much unquantifiable.
Besides, didn't Plagueis consider Bane's power to be "legendary"?
